Naperville Taqueria cooks only with zabiha-halal-certified meats from certified suppliers, and the suppliers’ certificates are on display at the counter inside Naperville Fresh Market, a store whose own specialty is halal meat. The certifying bodies behind those suppliers include the Halal Food Council U.S.A., Halal Transactions of Omaha and the Global Islamic Research Organization (GIRO) of Illinois.
The certification covers the meat, not the restaurant, which is why the certificates are shown at the counter rather than printed on a sign. These are some of the best steak tacos that I’ve had in a long time. Who knew that you could find such delicious food inside a fresh market. The Carne Asada and Cecina were flavorful, just the right amount of griddle char and went well with salsa
The two guys who run this place are incredible! They’re always friendly and serve up amazing home-cooked meals.
Great food with good price, big portion and fresh ingredients. One of the best to go place for Mexican food in the area. Highly recommend.
